LOT PORTER

Jim Vreeland Ford is looking for a motivated, hard-working team player to be our next service porter.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Wash service customer vehicles

  • New and used car prep and detail

  • Shuttle customers to and from the store

  • General lot maintenance

  • Move vehicles

  • Help with other errands for our sales and accounting managers as needed.


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record. 

  • Must pass a criminal background check

  • Must pass a drug screening


Hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:30pm

Pay depends upon experience.

LUBE TECHNICIAN

Jim Vreeland Ford is looking for an Entry Level/Lube Technician who is enthusiastic and eager to learn the next steps to becoming a Service Technician.  This position requires exceptional teamwork and the ability to work repetitively on complex tasks.  This is an hourly paid position.


JOB DUTIES:

  • Perform oil changes, tire rotations, balancing of tires and battery testing

  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance

  • Makes accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle

  • Utilizes product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management

  • Takes care to ensure that customer vehicles are returned to them in the same condition or better than when brought in

  • Participates in manufacturer-sponsored training, programs and schools.

  • Continuously expand your knowledge for new technologies and practices


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Some knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities

  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing with various internal and external customers

  • Automotive/Dealership experience or technical school certifications are preferred but not required

  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player

  • Must be at least eighteen years of age

  • Must have a valid driver's license

  • Must have basic tools

  • Must pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)


This is a full-time position.
Your income will vary based on your experience.
